Biography

Justin McCartney was born in NYC. His parents relocated to Pittsburgh, PA in the winter of ’76. When his father was recruited by the renowned Ketchum Communications Advertising Agency as the Head of their Television Production Team.

Moving to Los Angeles in '91; for more than 2 decades Justin worked in the Motion Picture Industry on award winning Films, Commercials, and Music Videos for top tier production companies, serving fortune 500 clients the world over. He has extensive experience as a Production Designer & Art Director and has also spearheaded several projects as a Director and Producer.

Justin also has experience as a Music Producer, and is a talented Musician ~Singer /Songwriter. He got his musical start "Fronting" Heavy Metal rock bands; "Strike Force" and "Whiskey High," in the Pittsburgh area during the late 80's, early 90's before moving out west where he performed in clubs in and around Hollywood, Santa Monica, and on the Sunset Strip throughout the mid to late 90’s and early into the new millennium.

Most recently, Justin has relocated back to his beloved hometown roots just north of Pittsburgh, PA. Where he’s currently developing several projects for upcoming release through "JMC Creative," a one stop shop for all things marketing and production related.
